Cooling installation

The total design of the cooling installation is based on the greenhouse surface area of 5.152 and future phase of 5.376 m². The design is based on a cooling capacity of 185 w/m² with closed screens. 

Near the new cooling technical room we will place a Carrie double chiller on a concrete foundation.

In the technical room we’ll build a manifold Ø 508 mm. for the two departments. One connection for the current mixing group and one connection for the future connection.

In the technical room we delivered and placed an expansion vessel with a volume of 2.000 ltr. The expansion vessel is based off the volume from the storage tank with an average temperature of 30 °C.

In the greenhouse we placed 16 cool units for cooling the greenhouse temperature.

In the technical room the steel piping, pumps, valves will be insulated with 19 mm armaflex and cladded with 0,6 mm smooth aluminum plate.

The outside steel piping will be insulated with 19 mm armaflex and 50 mm. wol and cladded with smooth plate same color as the cladding of the tank.

Delivery and installation of a vertical hot water storage tank with a capacity of 2.500 m³ and a cylindrical height of 12,50m. For the expansion of the water in the heat storage tanks we supply and install a nitrogen generator expansion system.  Boiler installation modification to open buffer system.

Storage tank and pipelines are insulated.  Water treatment boiler installation.

Water treatment:

  • Water softener
  • Partial flow filter DSF50
  • Lubron 217D (water treatment to stabilize calcium and magnesium salts in order the minimize boiler scale – minimize oxidation corrosion and forming a corrosion resistant film on the metal surface.)
  • Lubron 401 (water treatment added to the intake water to raise the pH of the water.)

The design of the heating installation is mostly based on the greenhouse surface area of four production phases each with a surface of 42.228 m².

The manifold and transport lines are prepared for four phases. The heat storage tank is prepared for two phases. The greenhouse project phase 1 consists a total of 4 climate zones with a central walk way and corridor. In the greenhouse, each climate zone is provided with a tube rail and gable heating system behind the outside gables. The grow pipe heating system is divided in 2 separate controlled sections. Phase 1 is also provided with a CO₂ dosing installation connected to the flue gas condenser of the gas fired boiler in the boiler room.

Heating installation Chicken Farm

The boiler room installation is designed for 3 boilers of 100 kW. In the farm we installed 5 air heaters. Installation includes a transport group with 2 stainless steel tubes for the supply and return.

Delivery and installation of a vertical hot water storage tank with a capacity of 2.250 m³ and a cylindrical height of 17 meter. For the expansion of the water in the heat storage tanks we supply and install a nitrogen generator expansion system. 

For the connection from the tank to the boiler room we high mounted steel piping on a galvanized frame work. Two high temperature transport line circuits will be mounted  from the CHP to the manifold in the boiler-room

The storage tank and all piping of the transport lines will be insulated.

The design of the heating installation is based on the greenhouse surface area of phase 2: 19.136 m². with a service area with a surface area of 995,2 m²

Phase 2 of the greenhouse project consists of a total of 4 climate zones with a central walk way. In the greenhouse each climate zone is provided with a floor heating, hoist heating and upper heating with gable heating system behind the outside gables.
